It’s important to think about your lifestyle and your baby’s changing needs when selecting a pram or pushchair.
There are numerous factors to consider before making a purchase Pram or Pushchair. A few are listed below.

Do you live in town or out in the country?
Consider the type of chassis. Classic chassis with fixed wheels and suspension offers a smooth ride even on rougher ground. Swivel wheels offer manoeuvrability. 3 wheelers can be used on rougher ground but if the front wheel is a swivel wheel then they are best for town use.

Do you travel on public transport or by car?
Consider size & weight. Can I carry it? How easy is it to fold? Will it fit in the car?

Do you have a large number of steps to climb?
Consider the weight and how easy it is to fold & carry.

Is there room in your car and your home for your chosen pram?
Will it fit in the car? Where will it be stored in your home?

How much walking do you do? and where?
Consider the type of wheels, fixed, swivel or 3 wheeler.
Look for a well padded seat unit for your babies comfort.

Will you have to lift and or carry the pram regularly?
Consider size & weight. Can I carry it? How easy is it to fold?

Where will your new baby be sleeping?
Some carrycots can be used for overnight sleeping.

Traditional Prams

Suitable from birth
Large hard bodied or smaller soft bodied versions are available, neither converts to a pushchair.

Large wheeled chassis with fully sprung suspension .

Carrycot top is detachable from chassis.

Not easily transportable by car or public transport.

2 in 1/2 in 1 Plus Pushchairs

Suitable from birth.
A 2 in 1 converts from a fully reclining pramette to a pushchair.

Travel System
